For roofing contractors working insurance claims

Find the money the adjuster left off the roof.

Upload the carrier estimate and your measurement report. In a few minutes ClaimGap lists every missing or short line item, prices it from the carrier's own estimate, and writes a supplement packet with code citations and photos.

Supplement firms charge 10–15% of the increase. ClaimGap is $79 a claim, or $49 on a plan.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Upload three things

The carrier estimate PDF, your EagleView / Hover / Roofr report, and job-site photos.

  2. Step 2

    Review what's missing

Every gap shows the carrier's quantity, the measured quantity, the price and the code reference. Approve, edit or add your own items.

  3. Step 3

    Send the packet

Export a clean PDF: cover letter, line items, per-item documentation and a photo exhibit. Track what the carrier approves.

What it catches

The items adjusters miss most often, and how often they miss them. Together they average about $4,200 per roof. ClaimGap checks for every one of them on every claim, plus waste factor, tear-off, underlayment, O&P eligibility and local ice-barrier code.

Questions

Do I need Xactimate?
No. ClaimGap prices missing items with the unit prices already on the carrier's own estimate. When an item has no matching line, it uses a market default and flags it so you can enter your price-list number.
What files do I upload?
The carrier's estimate PDF (Xactimate or Symbility), your measurement report PDF (EagleView, Hover, Roofr, GAF QuickMeasure) and up to 20 job-site photos.
Who sends the supplement?
You do. ClaimGap documents your scope of work as the contractor. You review every line before export and submit the packet through your normal channel. Some states restrict contractors from negotiating claims for homeowners, so check your state's rules.
What if the carrier approves nothing?
Email us within 60 days with the carrier's response and we'll return the claim credit. See the refund policy.
